On May 2, 2008 I received the best graduation present ever! Rather then walking at graduation, I walked into the hospital and brought home Lillian May Evans. She came 3 weeks early and weighed only 5Ibs 4oz.



36 hours later we were ready to go home, but

before they would let us leave Lilly had to do a car seat test because she was so small. She had to sit in her car seat for 90 minutes and make sure her oxygen level stayed above 90%.

My family was down to see me graduate, but they got to meet Lilly instead. My mother made Reuben, Lilly, and I put on our graduation gowns for a picture. Reuben was graduating the next day at SUU so he wore his gown from Dixie State.
